NAV 2013 Table Fields Unicode Caption

NAV 2013 Table Fields Unicode Caption Core
It is really good news that Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 supports Unicode! However, it is only Unicode Data Input. The Development Environment is still the same as Classic Client. We cannot input Unicode Characters, Text Constants in C/AL Editor or Table CaptionML property . to localize the system, especially systems of multinational companies.

4BzSoftware has 2 solutions to cover it. We would like to introduce you the "Unicode Table Fields Caption Core" solution which is more flexible and easier to use. You don't need to download and install any NAV Localization Package to work with desired Table Field Caption Language. Without re-login system or re-open company, you simply select Field Language ID in User Setup, the new language affects immediately.

    This translates fields only? lables, text variables, etc are still in english language?

    It would be great if MS separated Language layer out of development objects.
    It should be a separate objects. Or have an option to export objects without language layer.

    In NAV 2013 R2 Unicode is supported for captions too, as Michael Nielsen was proud to present here. Rome wasn't built in a day :wink: .

    When will it be released?
    I just tested and NAV 2013 is still not support unicode CaptionML, there is no information at hotfix overview page.

    Only NAV 2013 R2 supports it, the workflow is described here.

    Do you setup it successfully? I tried with NAV 2013 R2 but nothing changed. My concerns :-k :
    1. Is it applicable for non-supported language such as Vietnamese?
    2. What is the name of translation text file? I tried with "Translations.txt", "Translation.txt", "VIT.txt", "vi-VN.txt", "1066.txt", "A1066.txt" names and put it in folder "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\71\Service\Translations" and restarted the service.

    Oh, the Unicode caption tool is amazing! Setup is easier and quicker than standard way. But the MenuSuite requires CaptionML #-o

    - New symptom 6: Compile all tables receives error.
