Possible to dial a number from NAV?

Hi,

I´ve got kind of a odd question. Is it possible to make a phone call from code in NAV? We´re using Cisco IP telephones in our company, which are directly connected to each computer and can be accesed through their IP. And I am planning to make some sort of telephone book with all contacts to our customers. It would be awesome if I could dial a number from contact´s card form. I know this was possible in my previous job, but programmers used C# there. No idea how it worked... :D.

I was wondering if any of you have some experience with this.

    Check if your phone vendor supports TAPI. That's the protocol for communicating with a phone switchboard, and NAV supports this TAPI protocol out of the box. Check out related postings in this forum: http://lmsmfy.com?q=tapi
