Hi
Is there a solution for this issue? I saw a similar posting here (http://dynamicsuser.net/forums/p/47224/375095.aspx) but solution mentioned? Issue is
I have a user that is allowed to post in the Item Journals in the classic client. In RTC the form does not open, no error message is shown. I guess the are doing the same thing and permissions should not have to be extended just because he is using RTC?
I added permissions table 82 and 83 and synchronized this users permissions. No results from this change. He has excecute permissions on all pages.
Any ideas on how to find what is missing? I saw the "User Rights Setup" tool, but this doesn't work for RTC nor Windows logins according to the documentation.
It opening for users with Super role

Yes, but after double clicking a template, the Batch list page is opened. Not the item journal page.."A bove maiore discit arare minor"-"From the old ox, the young one learns to plow."0

I'm trying to reproduce the behavior without any success ](*,)

As far as the initial information goes, this customer never used RTC in any form earlier. Their system was migrated to 2009 R2 from 5.0SP1. and they have been using classic all this while. Now, they show interest in RTC. I am trying to compare the pages and code-units with standard 2009 R2 for any modification.
What surprise me is that it works for users with SUPER role. That's why I thought it is to do with some kind of permission issues."A bove maiore discit arare minor"-"From the old ox, the young one learns to plow."0 -
I found few entries in the 2000000075-User Metadata table for this user. I took removed them all and now it is working...
I dunno whether this is the right solution but just recording the finding here to be of use for anyone in future.

In my (little) experience User Metadata can cause the most odd glitches ever :-k* Daniele Rebussi * | * Rebu NAV Diary *0
