Windows Server 2008 r2 VS Windows 7

We installed NAV 2009 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 standard for a client. I just noticed something very strange; When I look at Vendor ledger Entries, and I try to change the sorting order from 'Vendor No., Posting Date, Currency Code' to 'Open, Due Date' nothing happens. The value in the sorting field does not change.
I took a backup of the entire database and put it on my local machine which is running windows 7 home premium and I am able to change the sorting order. Any idea why on Windows server the sorting drop downs do not change.
The strange thing is that, I tried the same thing in Customer Ledger Entries, and I am able to change the sorting option. I am just not sure why its not working for Vendor Ledger Entries.
In Classic, I am able to change the sorting option for VLE and it works perfectly. However, our client uses RTC.
