NAV user with new Surname

Hi,
Not sure if this should go into the SQL forum but.......
We use NAV 5.0 and our users are authenicated using their AD Accounts. One of our NAV users had their surname changed and they can still log into NAV as the SID remains the same for their AD account. However, NAV still sees the account as having the old surname and this is causing some issues. I have deleted the account from NAV Windows Logins and also from NAV User Setup. When I add the account back into Windows Logins I can either specifiy the new name or the old name, both will work. If I use the new name I find that this changes back to the old name automatically if I refresh the view. Adding the user in the NAV User Setup always displays the user as having the old surname.
Deleting the user from Windows Logins brings up a prompt to comfirm if I want to also delete the SQL account. The username here always contains the new surname.
I have gone into SQL Management Studio and added the User's Login manually. I can search through AD for the user using the new surname. If I try and find the user using her old surname it comes back saying user not found as I would expect.
Is this likely to be a SQL related issue?

I think I solved this issue - I basically just restarted the machine that had the NAV Client and I was then able to add the correct account with the new surname. I assume the NAV client has some sort of cache with the user's old name.0
