XMLPort Running Silent

I have an XMLPort bringing 133000 Opening Balance Lines. This works a treat you'll be pleased to know - the only thing am surprised with us that when I execute the XMLPort from a codeunit it shows nothing - just runs - for an hour+ - worst still the RTC looks like it has clashed until the final XMLPort record is processed! Dataports didn't have the best of dialogs but is the way of displaying some sort of process during a XMLPort run?
