Copy database

Hi,

I copied company database and restored on my laptop for some testing.
but I can't open the database - login failed
of-course domain and user is different from company server
I have tried my best to give dbowner for database to local admin etc.
I can login on my other database but
still can't login on this database.
it is 2009R2 same version
Can anyone help?

SQL server is installed in Windows Authentication Mode or Mixed Mode?

If Mixed Mode, did you try to loogin with sa?

it is windows only on both side

Create a Database Login for yourself and make a new backup of the database. That may be the easiest thing to do.
