Nav 3.7 upgrade naar Nav 2009 R2

Hallo,

ik heb een losse Navision bestand (.fdb?), die ik met navision client kan opstarten, die dus alles bevat, zonder sql server. 2,5 GB.
het draait op client 3.6.
mijn vraag is:
om het te kunnen gebruiken onder windows 7 zou er een upgrade moeten komen naar client Nav 2009 R2. nu wordt er gebruik gemaakt van virtual omgevingen met win xp, hier willen we vanaf.

wat zou ik hiervoor moeten doen? stap voor stap? zou alleen converteren voldoende zijn?
kan iemand mij stap voor stap aan kunnen geven wat ik zou moeten doen?
graag zsm een antwoord.

    Hallo,

    I'm Sorry, but I Do not speak dutch.
    But we did an Technical Update from 3.70 native to NAV 2009 R2 SQL.

    The Steps we did:

    1. Make a Backup of the OLD native Database
    2. Import the Backup into an NEW NAV 2009 R2 native Database.
    3. In the mibuso Download section You can Find an Report for the Date Konversion Native -> SQL
    Get the Report and run it in ALL Companies
    4. Create an Backup from then NEW Native Database
    5. Create an NEW SQL Database
    6. Import the Backup

    If you do not Work with Windows Authentification create SQL Users on then SQL Server the New Database will run.

    7. Synchronosize the Users Permissions

    Hallo,

    We are not using sql server. Just navision db and open it with the client 3.7. Can you give the information for this?

    Hallo Akin,

    To Convert a 3.60 to 3.70 or 6.02
    you just have to open then Native DB with the New Client on a Server (Performance!)
    Steps:

    0. Get The latest BuildNo (esp. if you are using TS or Citrix)
    1. make a Backup
    2. Stop The Navision Server and NAS
    3. Install the New Client
    4. Convert the Database
    5. Install the new Server
    6. Start the New Server
    7. Install the NAS
    8. Deploy the New Client

    But be careful, there are a few changes between 370 and 602 CC
    For Example:
    Slot selection in Reports ( til Version 4 it had to be on PreReport Now it has to be on AfterGetRecord)

    The Printer Names in the Printer Selection has to be Modied, if there is a queue-No

    I don't remember all changes, so please check the WhatsNew Whitepapers

    And remember the most important thing: TESTING!!!!!

    Ok, maar ik snap het nog steeds niet:)
    ik heb geen voorbeeld nodig met SQL, maar Technical Update van 3.70 native naar NAV 2009 R2.
    Er wordt geen gebruik gemaakt van SQL server waar de database zou moeten zitten.

    Ik zou graag een stappenplan willen hebben.

    Iemand???
