Create "Edit List" if not present (NAV 2013)

Page 16 ("Chart of Account") has the "Edit List" functionality in order to make possible to change the fields on list, otherwise page 314 ("General Posting Setup") does not. My objective is to add the same "Edit List" functionality to page 314. It does not matter in which form (Button, ShortCutKeyt, any other way) it is exposed, but I just need that it works. I do know that I can create an Edit Card for each item of the list, but it is not what I need.
Please take a look at the attached picture. Do you have any insights or ideas?

Dear Mark Brummel,
thank you for your post. I did it, but I do need that by default opening the page the list is not editable (on view mode). The user can switch on editable mode using the button that now appears setting "Editable" property on "yes" among Page Properties. I need to manage the same behaviour as Page 16 ("Chart of Account").
Do you know how to open the list on view mode with the "Editable Mode" button present?0 -
The behaviour is the same.
The Chart of Accounts is probably non editable because you open it nested inside the RTC. The posting setup opens in its own window.
Maybe you can do something with sendkeys.0 -

Launching the two pages (Page 16 "Chart of Account" and Page 314 "General Posting Setup") from Object Designer in both cases the page opens in "view mode". Using RTC "Chart of Account" page opens in view mode in the same launching page (menu), while "General Posting Setup" is opened in edit mode in a new RTC window separated from the launching page (menu).
Thus it is to be found how to set the launching mode in a new window. I really do not know how to set it, do you?
In addition I found "sendkeys" on help, but I did not find anything. Sorry. What do you mean by "sendkeys"? Where can I set them?0 -
The only way to open a page embedded is via a menuitem in the role center.
Here is some info on sendkeys.

Dear Mark Brummel,
thank you for your insight. In order to open an embedded page it is no clear what you mean by "via a menuitem in the role center". Please may you explain me better? Sorry for this additional request.
I have noticed that page "Chart of accounts" (launched from "Departments/Financial Management/General Ledger" list menu) opens in embadded mode, but starting from the same list menu the "General Journal" link opens in a new window. Page "Gen. Posting Setup" (launched from "Departments/Financial Management/Administration" list menu) opens on a new window. The tree is different but pretty close.
In addition I noticed that using 2013 version the Page "Gen. Posting Setup" has "Editable" property page set on "No", while the same page using 2009 R2 the same property is set on "Yes". I do not know why they change. Anyway my issue is on 2013 version.0 -

I made an additional check browsing MenuSuite "Dept - MBS" on Object Designer tool on 2013 version. I notice that all the item on the menu that are classified as "Lists" on the "Department" field are shown in an embedded mode. Taking into account that in the embedded mode the list appairs in "view mode" even setting "Editable" property on "yes", I could have found a point.
If my supposition were right, the issue now is the permission problem changing the department of Page "Gen. Posting Setup" from "Administration" in "Lists".
Do you think that my suppostion is right? Right now I do not have the permission to check it.0 -
Hey - just adding a comment as when I was searching for a solution to my problem, I found it from this post (but sor tof indirectly).
If you have a list page, and it is under the 'Lists' menu menu in departments, then clicking that list will open the list embedded in the RTC, and uneditable.
If you have a list page, and it is under the 'Tasks' menu menu in departments, then clicking that list will open the list in a new window, editability determined by the property of the page, but the Edit List / View List buttons will be on the screen, giving the user the option.0 -
Thank you. I got the same some weeks ago. :-)0
