Im having an issue with a custom report in RTC, if i run it and have it print the report gets printed with most of the report items in the header and footer sections missing. If i print it from preview it prints with all the data there but the placement is a little off. I can fix the placement issue but does anyone know why it would print from the preview but not from just clicking print? Is the a bug,am i doing something wrong or is there some work around?

Hi, here some questions for you, you've given us zero informations to solve the problem:
1. if you preview it, and the click on "print preview", what does it happen? does the header and footer disappear?
2. did you set the papersize and borders correctly in the rdlc?
3. how do you print the values in the header and in the footer sections? do you use "Reportitems!" method or getdata/setdata method?
4. a printscreen of the rdlc layout would be helpful0 -

1. When i preview it everything is fine, same goes if i print from preview. But if i just print not from preview header and foot sections are missing
2. I think this may be part of the placement problem, how do I set the boarders in the RDLC?
3.I use the "Reportitems!" method

Hi,
I'm having the same problem too for NAV 2013 (this report works fine in 2009 and I've used the upgrade report tool to upgrade it), the report header/footer prints fine if I prints or view the print layout it from preview but not if I print directly without previewing it.
1. I'm using setdata and getdata
2. report size is 21 cm and 29.7cm
Report layout is as attached.

Found out what was my problem, it was because I've called the SetData function in the value field instead of the Hidden field.0
