NAV 2013 - Development Environment server cannot be found

Hello,
I have NAV 2013 installed on my machine. I have development environment up and running locally (with local NAV server and SQL server). However anytime I try to connect (or even only lookup database name) via development environment to the corporate SQL server I receive the following error mesage:
The nav2013.corpnet.loc server cannot be found. Try again later or contact your system administrator.
I can connect to that SQL server via SSMS, I am sysadmin on the required SQL server. I can view the server and its databases from NAV2009 classic client (surely I cannot open these as the database is on NAV2013, but I can view these). I can connect to that database via NAV web client. I just cannot open or lookup the database via NAV 2013 development environment.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Igor

Thanks for the suggestion,
unfortunately I have tried both net types available even before. It doesn't change anything.

Check if maybe some firewall is blocking it.Regards,Alain Krikilion
