Windows Server for Navision 2013, 2012 or 2008 r2 ?

hello friends,

Doing a installation of navision 2013 on windows 2012 and windows 2008 r2, is there any differences?

the issue is, if there is a big differences let's say in performance, we might consider to buy a new license of windows 2012. Otherwise, we might use an existing 2008r2 license.

any references ?

Other than the Microsoft release saying SQL 2012 is compatible with Dynamics NAV 2009 and 2013, there are no such comparisons published about the performance between 2008 and 2012.

Yes, no performance gains that I know of. I would evaluate your current software you are using and see if it is compatible with 2012. I know in my current situation, there is still many things that are not compatible with 2012
