Dataport Import Issue

Hi,
I have a dp of Vendor with dataitemtableview propert=Sorting(No.);
Dataport Field-"P.A.N No."

FieldStartDelimiter-"
FieldEndDelimiter-"
FieldSeparator- <TAB>

The file i am importing is or Text Delimited type Vendor.txt.
There is no code on the OnValidate trigger of "P.A.N. No." in the vendor table.
And i have not written any code in any of the trigger of dp.

Still when i import the data of the PAN No. it dp runs successfully, but data doesn't imports in it

    You will need the Vendor Number in your import file as Nav will not know which record to update.

    Yups..
    I did it with:

    if VendRec.get("No.") then
    PANNO := Vend.PANNO;
    modify;

    Ok so you have 2 fields in you import file - correct?
    1st Vendor Number and 2nd PAN Number

    e.g. 10000<TAB>ABC123

    You will not need any code in the OnBeforeImportRecord trigger
