We are looking for Web Connector to connect our NAV 2009 Classic (SQL) with our websites designed in Magento.
If any forum user using Magento NAV connector please share your experiance about how it works.
We are using one Addon for Furniture Manufacturing, so it may require some customization for us.
Thanks,

We use a combination of Webservices (for non-trasaction tables) and process only reports (to import/export transaction orders such as sales orders).
Works pretty well for our clients.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

Thanks Alex,
One more question,
Do you use any connector AddOn or it is customer specific customizations?Rakesh Patel

It's customer specific although we have a template we work off of. The reason is because Magento is so customizable that ususally customers that implement Magneto will have have different flavors of it.
I found that the time spent on Add-on vs. time spent on developing it is about the same. However, maintaining it when you develope it in house is more cost effective (no enhancement cost, more flexibilty, etc).Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

Our Magento + NAV both are not standard so I think customer specific customizations will be the only solution in our case.
We are using TrimIT NAV Addon for Furniture industry and I tried to contact few companies who developed connector AddOn, they replied that AddOn will work with standard NAV but not sure about AddOn.Rakesh Patel

It's really not that hard. The majority of the work is actually done by the Magento programmer. For NAV, we just have to worry about the data coming in and going out.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
