FINSQL client "flicker"

Hi all,
I've searched the forums a few different ways, and I can't find any other report like this. We have the 2009 client on a 3.70A database. Running SQL 2005. No Citrix.
Several users have reported, (and I've experienced it myself), the Navision finsql client "flickering" randomly during their workday. This happens most frequently for our Order Entry/Invoicing staff (around 20 people). The application flicker appears to cause the application to lose focus, and then regain focus almost immediately, almost as fast as a blink. The problem is the field being edited at the time goes from the cursor being in the field edit mode, to the entire field being highlighted. And as the users are doing mostly "heads down" entry, they don't see it, and lose the information in the field they've already entered. For the most part, it's not a critical issue, but it does slow them down.
The problem is relatively new; only been reported to me over the last couple months.
I've no idea how to start debugging this issue. Any advice greatly appreciated.
cheers,

That sounds like that some program is being launched in an invisible way and then stops running.
It can be run by NAV using a timer-trigger or it is possible it is launched by the Windows scheduler.
Another possibility is some malware that is on their PC's.Regards,Alain Krikilion

Oh! I remember a case where a customer had exactly the same issue! There it wasn't a timer etc., but seemed to be a real NAV client bug ... Which NAV version/build do you use?Jörg A. Stryk (MVP - Dynamics NAV)
