What does C/OCX, C/FRONT and C/ODBC stand for?

Hello alltogether,

I'm just writing an exam and I need to know the meaning of the abbreviations above (C/OCX, C/FRONT and C/ODBC). I already found out what C/SIDE stands for (Client/Server Integrated Development Environment), but I really #-o don't find anything about the other abbreviations :-k

Please help... ](*,)

Sincerely yours

The "C/" has the same meaning as in C/SIDE (only as abbr.): "Client/Server"

Here's how that went (in my imagination anyway :))....

Imagine a group of people sitting around the conference room, trying to come up with a name for their software package. Someone came up with the brilliant C/SIDE (which means Client Server Integrated Development Environment). Everybody liked it so much, that they wanted everything to look as cool as 'C/SIDE'. So, henceforth, the decision was to abbreviate everything related to Navision development, and to start all components with "C/", just to make sure everybody knows that it belongs in Navision.

It doesn't really mean anything, it's just a name. All that it does is designate that it is a Navision component.
