Border & Merge option in Excel Buffer?

Hey guys,

Can anyone let me know if we can put borders or merge cells in excel while exporting any report using "Excel Buffer"?

Yes you can, just write the appropriate code.

Thanks for the reply but I dont know what code has to be written for Border/Merge. I could write code for making the cell BOLD or Italic or underline but cant find anything for BORDER or MERGE.
I can see only few Fields in EXCEL BUFFER table i.e.
Row No.
xlRowID
Column No.
xlColID
Cell Value as Text

Bold
Italic
Underline

In few older post I could read that "TempExcelBuffer."Border Style" can be used but where is it in "Excel Buffer"? using this result is an error

You can extend the excel buffer with what you want. You only need to record macro in excel, look into the code of it and do the same in NAV through automations.
