Inventory Valuation for Company

Hi All,

One of my client's require to value all its inventory at the same Average Cost across all locations. Can this be done on NAV 2009?

To elaborate more, what is currently happening in NAV is that, it calculates a different Average Cost for each item at each location based on the different quantities of different costs of the same item that is held at different location. But what the client requires is to maintain the same average cost of items at all locations, throughout the company. :?:

    Hi gdiaz,

    you can set it up this way. You have to change the inventory setup to "Avg. Cost Calc. Type" = "Item". You also need to clear the "Stockkeeping Unit" table. Please try this out on a test database first.
