hello everybody
i am using NAV2009R2. we produce item x which rate = 100/-
qty. = 2
Rate = 100/-
value = 200/-
excise = 10%
excise base amt. = 200/-
excise amt. = 20/-
so ass. value = 200/-
but in posted sales inv. table ass. value = 0 why.
so pls. help me. is this a bug or standard functionality.
Thanks in advance
regards

Is the "Assessable value" updated on item master...?0

Hello Pravin,
I beleive Vijay is on the right track with his question.
The Assessable value field in the Sales Order line / Invoice line is generally filled up when the excise calculation expected on the document is based on Assessable value.
For example if your Excise Posting Setup (present against the item) has the value of BED calculation type as '% of Assessable value' and your item master has the assessable value setup for the item and the current invoice has used this combination for excise calculation, you would find that the assessable value field is filled up.
