You must choose a company before you can use the xyz table

Hello,

When I try to restore a database(.fbk file) in NAV 2009 SP1, it prompted "you must choose a company before you can use the xyz table" and stopped.
While taking backup I am considering data common to all companies.
This is happening with P db backup only.
If I restore the db backup without data common to all companies then I am not getting that error even I have restored this local db (with data common to all companies) with/without that specific table then i didn't get any error, it got restored successfully.
The data per company of that table is Yes.

Does anyone get any ideas/solution? Thanks in advance.

    Is it a table used in Codeunit 1 ApplicationManagement?

    Try this:
    Create an empty db
    Restore application objects
    Restore data common to all companies
    Restore one company one by one

    Hope this helps

    @ geordie : No we have not used this table in Cu 1 even this table's function is not calling any other obj's function. Thanks for the reply.

    @ta5 : I will try your methodology. I will update you once it's done but can you tell me why this is happening?
    Actually I am not getting any clue why this is behaving so.
