Nonstock items

Hi Guys,

we are using NAV 2009

Our company sells it's own products but also lots of nonstock products.
We cannot change the unit cost of any item to keep pricing up to date.

We understand that for stock items changing the unit cost is impossible and this is correct.
But for nonstock items we cannot update the unit price and we cannot understand why this would be.
We get an error: You cannot change the Unit Cost because there are one or more ledger entries for this item


Can some explain why or is there a fix for this?

    If you have posted transactions with this item then you can only change the standard cost (not unit cost) if the "Costing Method" is Standard.
