Item Filter in Adjust Cost

Hi all
Is there a way to filter the Items to run the adjust cost item entries? We have found a situation where one company didnt run it for a long time and now its going to take days to complete. This would disrupt normal activities by way of locking tables.

I am trying to find a way to run it for a group of items each day during the night until all completed.

What should be the right place in Inventory Adjustment codeunit, if we are to add a COMMIT to save the completed Item when an error or a Cancel occurred?

create a new processing report to call the std nav report. The new report will loop through the item table and call the std nav report filtered on one item.

Then in this new report add a commit after each item.

By the way, is it Ok to filter Item for "Cost is Adjusted = No" in processing only report to minimize the number of items?
