user License for commerce portal

Hello,

Regarding the calculation user license for a site with commerce portal, How will the number of concurrent user be derived?

• Is it simply the number of concurrent internal users
or
• It should also include the number of external users like Vendors and customers?

    Do you mean Commerce Portal or User Portal?

    From the file "NAV_PriceListExplanation_200504.doc":
    "The required number of Web Users is equal to the number of internal users that access the front end of the solution. Only one (1) Web User is required per internal employee regardless of the access to the solution."

    If you do have employees using Commerce Portal to do their work, you would have to purchase one Web user per employee using it.

    External users like Vendors and Customers do not require Web users.

    Thanks Skeeve,

    I understand that user portal should have the licence for all concurrent users.

    Is it so that any number of Vendors and Customers can access commerce portal simultaneously? Is there any restriction in number of hit at a time?
