Upgrade from 1.3 to 3.7

Hello,

Can anyone please suggest the best way to do the data upgrade for 1.3 database to 3.70, in which there are not much of customization done.

The manual process for upgrading the database by importing/exporting the data thru dataports should be done or we must follow the upgrade toolkit, that would again be a two step process that is, 1.3 to 2.0 and then to 3.7.

Is there a direct tool for 1.3 to 3.7 available for data upgrade?

    Personally I think that is a loooong way to go.

    I would treat it like a NEW installation instead of an Upgrade.

    As far as I am aware, there is no direct upgrade tool from 1.30 to 3.70. You will have to go from 1.30 to 2.00 and then from 2.00 to 3.70.

    There have been a lot of changes between 1.30 and 3.70, so some re-training/re-introduction would be a very good idea.

    You can do a good upgrade, but if the users cannot find their way round the system, it will still go bad.
