Job List with fields from different table

This might seem like a silly question: In the Job List (which is based on Job table), a user has requested that we should add two new columns (fields) from a different table (consumer table). Is this possible?
I tried to do this by changing the source: consumer."LHIN Code" and consumer."Age Today". But it doesnt seem to do anything. I am pretty sure it is possible. So what am I doing wrong??

The info you need is in your last post:

You use GET to retrieve one and only one record from the database, for which you know all of the primary key values. If you don't know all of the primary key values, and you still use GET, you are using the wrong keyword.DenSter wrote:Just don't use it like that.
If you don't have all primary key values, you set filters and you use one of the FIND statements (FINDFIRST, FINDLAST, FINDSET) to retrieve the records.
Or via flowfield see vid:

Nverma,
I think it is very good that you want to learn NAV programming but please study the following books:
http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Dynamics-2009-Programming-Cookbook/dp/1849680949/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1342110400&sr=8-1&keywords=matt+traxinger

you will find these very interesting. I read and really liked all three of them.
I know that these books will show you how to program in NAV correctly.

I ordered two of the books and I will start going through them. \:D/
