Customizing the navigation pane

Hi everyone,

I need to customize the navigation pane of the RTC client in this way: I need to add a new navigation pane button(like Home, Departments, etc) called Salaries under which I am going to add links to pages I am designing.

I tried to use the link Customize Navigation Pane and added a new button but then I had to choose items to add among a list (Financial Management, Sales Marketing, etc) and I need to add only my personal pages, nothing else....When I ignore this step(I added nothing), the new button doesn't display

How can I do it???

For RTC you have design through the Object Designer --> create a new menusuite --> select "Design for" as RoleTailored Client.

Thank you for your reply...but when I select "Design for" as RoleTailored Client, the choices are Dept-Add-on(1->10) , Dept-Partner and Dept-Company.

Which one shall I choose???
