Service Item transfer among departments

Hey,
Since we do not have deep knowledge of std NAV service management, I was wondering is it possible to create some sort of transfers of service items among company's departments? I am pretty sure that std functionality does not cover that, but maybe you have some sort of experience or ideas, how to solve/develop such problem (transfers and all transfer history should reflect in service ledger entries).
Thanks a lot.

If you don't have deep knowledge of NAV service management, it makes no difference if you have the ability to develop your system or not.
