Pls. share if someone have a solution for the error as shown below. I am stuck :-k

Error

Unable to locate Application Server 'XYZ' running on computer 'XYZ'.

Hi,

can you share the error that you can get in Event Viewer. So that we can analyze it better.

I tried installing the NAS following the link from your post. Now the command promt opens and gets closed. Somehow I could capture the screen and is as attached.

Kindly suggest where am I doing the wrong :-k

Try running the command prompt as Administrator. See viewtopic.php?f=23&t=52151

It worked fine, but... I have a warning message in the event viewer. I now have the status of all the 3 screens attached (Event Viewer, Services Screen, NASMSnapIn Status).

Kindly suggest how could I proceed further in rectifying this

I guess you have entered Server name from Database-->information-->Server name..

In your previous screenhots from the command prompt, you used "DILIP" as servername. Now you are using "DILIP-SQL". As this is the name of the NAS service, it cannot be the name of your SQL server.
