Hi,
I made a lot of update in Navision on:(dataport,table,codeunit,forms,report...),and i want to make bakup of all uapdates.
then i want to install navision on an other server ,copy the data base(backup/restore) and then make the back up of the code source.
so how can i backup code source , may i export all objects by fob and then import them after install navision and the database?

You can either:
a) Export all objects from Object Designer
b) Backup application objects only through Backup feature of C/SIDE client
Then you do (respectively):
a) Import all objects, and replace all
b) Restore the backup
So, you either do both a) or both b), not all of the above(Co-)author of "Implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009"

When you take a database backup (talking about a SQL Server backup here), the objects are included, and you do not have to do anything to export the objects separately. When you restore that backup to another server, the objects are restored as well.
With a NAV backup you can also include the objects, but you have to make sure that this option is selected.
If you are interested in objects only, then you export them to fob. BUT if you are taking a full backup, then that is not necessary because the objects will already be part of the backup.0 -
