How to Remove Sales Order Linked to Purchase Order?

I'm currently using Dynamics Nav 2009 R2 and I'm having problems deleting a Sales Order linked by Special Order to a Purchase order. I removed the purchase order number from the sales order, but i am unable to un-check the special order box. How do I remove the link from the sales order to the purchase order?

Have you tried entering a different "Purchasing Code" in the sales line.

Have tried removing the values on the sales line for these fields?
-Special Order Purchase No.
-Special Order Purch. Line No.

Also remove the values from these PO line fields:
-Special Order Sales No.
-Special Order Sales Line No.
