Average Cost Period Field

This field specifies the period type that the program used or uses in the accounting period to calculate the average cost. The options for average cost periods are day, week, month, quarter, and accounting period. You set up the average cost period in the Inventory Setup window.

If you change the average cost period, only entries in open fiscal years will be affected.
