Access to SQL Database

Hi
I'd like to acces the NAV SQL database via the Excel Tool PowerPivot.
Connection tests work fine and i can access empty tables. When i want to access a table wihich contains records this error message is shown:
OLE DB- oder ODBC-Fehler : Requested conversion is not supported..
I guess there are some OLE DB or ODBC settings which might be wrong? Does anybody have an idea what that might be? Or Could someone tell me where i can find technical specs for an NAV SQL Database, maybe with some remarks where an NAV SQL Database differs from an other SQL Database...

Hi,
There's nothing in the NAV SQL DB that differs from other SQL DB's.
You do probably have some columns defined in your spreadsheet that has different format than defined in the table - e.g. integer columns thas has datetime data
