Text value in Rtc

Hi Experts,

I have a report in which a Number (Datatype-Text) having dimension- 2, variable is made.
Through that value amount in classic is passed.

On using the datasetfieldname of the textbox of number, the value is not flowing.

I have cross checked About this report, the value is not at all flowing to the Rdlc.

    How are you passing the value?

    Is the variables calculated in Sections?

    Mohana,

    The values are getting calculated in the same footer section of the report in which the Number[1] is available.
    I tried:

    1. To move the code from the footer section to the dataitem's OnAftergetrecord().
    it didn't worked, it usually works. As one of my friend was having the same issue.
    It was resolved by moving the code.
    2. I tried passing the value via a variable.
    when i am writing the code for passing the value through a variable error occurs
    Text = void, in the variable i am trying to pass the value is txt and the calculation shows me the void error.
