<img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/smiles/icon_mad.gif" /> I pray that these are just rumors and will not be true.
If Navision will be a member of Microsoft I think I must stop all further programming. Microsoft stays many Years in programming applications. the only thing brought to us is IMHO the biggest virus I've ever seen.
I will dig my grave if i have to install here a MS-SQL-Server instead of the really good working database engine of Navision. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif" />0 -
Then you better start diging <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" /> There is nothing wrong with MS SQL-Server.No support using PM or e-mail - Please use this forum. BC TechDays 2024: 13 & 14 June 2024, Antwerp (Belgium)0

I will buy a big shovel today!
If you think there is nothing wrong with the MS-SQL-Server then I think you have never seen a real SQL-database. I ask myself what is not wrong with this.
Try to scale up a MS-Server (It's very funny what happens if you install it on a RAID5 Array <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif" />
Try to install a safe and secure working SQL-Server (I had a Oracle machine running 2 years without break - I had a SQL-Server running 10 Minutes before the next bugfix was neccessary - dont ask me what happened after this bugfix)
Try to use ANSI-SQL <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/smiles/icon_razz.gif" /> (distinct f.eg.)
Try to install on a server operating system (maybe you think windows will be one - I think you need Novell or Unix to have something working)
If you need a real SQL-Server try Oracle, try DB/2 or even Sybase Adaptive Server.0 -
