Client closes after choosing a company

Let me say foremost that I've searched the forum but found no similar case. I'm currently working on a NAV5-SQL database where I'm doing some cleanup work regarding objects. In extend to the objects I've also cleaned up (deleted) the menu items which were obsolete or pointed to objects which were deleted. I've deleted, compiled and tested my work step vise and all went well until I've deleted some "lost" menu items. After compilation the client closed without a message and from that point on I'm only able to log into the db but unable to open the company. It's a NAV5 client on a SQL 2008 database - and yes it's a test db which on the other hand would serve as a baseline for the production db.
Anyone had something similar?

Thanks for the quick reply.
If I delete the "Company" (90) MenuSuite it works but after importing it I'm back where I was. Do you have any idea how to fix this? I have the object in .fob and .txt.0 -
