Software conflict??

We recently updated our anti-virus in our environment and since then have been getting seemingly random message boxes that indicate the the PC is looking for disk 1 of Nav 3.70 to load certain features for Navision. Usually Navision is not even running at the time.

We are currently running Navision 3.70 and the anti-virus is Symantic 10.0 upgraded from 8.1. (We updated each client with Symantic 10.0 from the CD files on a shared drive.)

Have anyone come across this or situations that might be similiar?

    Encountered an incident that was somewhat similar: Navision Help would attempt to run, usually when starting the client. While we did not get all of the details from the client, it was traced to a missing dll file.

    Perhaps this will give you something to explore as a possibility.
