XML Port for Modification

Hey Guys,
I've been trying to modify records using an XML Port. Logically, as dataport allows such operations, I am forced to belive that even XML Ports should have the option of modification. However, I can't seem to do it.
Does anyone have any idea about how to use XML Ports for modifications?
