To Update a field in Header Form while i am in Sub Form

Hi,
I wanted to change the value of a field which is in Header Form while i am working in Sub form. I am able to do that but its not gettting updated immediatly but only after the header form gets control its getting upadated. I wanted to Update the Header form from sub form . Can anyone help in doing this ?
