Hello,
Have you created a new submenu and want to change the "report" button so the menu has its own list of reports?
Do not try to use table 2000000041 - You cannot add fields this way. #-o
Instead:
Go Tools -> Object Designer.
Press the "Table" button and find table 243 'Report List'.
Press the "Design" button.*
In the Table Designer, press F3 to create a new field.
Change the "Field No." to 50000.
Enter a "Field Name".
Enter a "Data Type" of "Integer".
Press Escape.
Press "Yes" to save the changes. \:D/
(*If you get an error, saying you do not have permission at this point, you do not have the "Table Designer" granule. You must either buy it or ask your reseller to make the changes for you.)Edward Bloomfield

Sorry,
I think I understand new - I should have asked you which version of Navision you are using. Are you using a very old version of Navison Financials like 2.00 (Or older)?
If so, if you want to add a new Menu Option in 2.00 then you need to do the following:
Design table 243
Go to Field No. 1 "Type"
Go View -> Properties
Go to "OptionString" - Add ,New Menu to the end of the options.
e.g.
G/L Reports,Sales Reports,Sales Doc.,Purch. Reports,Purch. Doc.,Item Reports,BOM Reports,,Resource Reports,Job Reports,Employee Reports,Cont. Mgt. Reports,Cont. Mgt. Doc.,Fixed Asset Reports,Manuf. Reports,,Manuf. Doc.,CRP Reports,Fcst. Reports,New Reports
Move out of the "OptionString" field.
Close Properties.
Close and save the table.
You cannot do anything in table 200000041, as it is a virtual table, so please do not try to make any changes there.
Hope this is of help...Edward Bloomfield

If you are trying to create a new menu, choose an existing one, design it, and File -> Save As.
Then go to the "Reports" button, go View -> Properties.
Find "RunFormView". Change to -> WHERE(Type=FILTER(New)).
Save the menu.Edward Bloomfield
