Syntaxe How to force values in DataPort!

Hello all,
I have to export G/L Account table in the textfile.
How to force values in the textefile of one field.
i teste the following code in the beforeexportrecord as this:
example
"Balance at Date":=12;
But no result it keeps the values of the the record coming from the table.

i;m not a dataport guru
but
View->dataport fields
in the sourceExpr
FORMAT(ROUND("Balance at Date"-"Balance at Date")+12),2)
there might be an easier way - but this will give you 120 -
Replace the field by variable in the Dataport fields and in the OnBeforeExport trigger set this variable to value you want...0
