Hello guys!
I have gotten a very wierd problem.
We have set up two 3-tier architectures. With Dynamic NAV Server service on one computer and SQL Server on another. The client connects through a thin client.
- There are two databases
- There are two Dynamic NAV server services.
- The services customconfig files point to the matching database.

Before we converted the system from 2T 5.01 to 3T 2009. We had run the conversion on two test databases with same setup and it went fine.
Now, that we have converted the real databases we want to point the dynamics NAV Server service to the correct database.
We changed the customsettings.config file to the correct databases.
Now one dynamics nav server service point to the correct database
The other is still pointing to the old, test, database. Eventhough, the customsettings.config file point to the real database, and not the test database.
Have anyone seen this problem before? I would love some help on this one :)

Edit: We have also restarted the services (Offcourse)

Did you try by restarting the second service which has problem?

Are you selecting correct path in select server option of RTC?

Thank you for your help mohana.
    But we found the problem.
To make the customsettings.config change take effect you need to restart
Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Web Services
    AND
    Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server service.

This means that both services needs to be stoppet AT THE SAME TIME
    - Customsettings.config change and saved.
--Start both services at the same time.
