NAV 4.0 SP1 database test

Hi, I am currently running a database test with everything checked except field relationships between tables. The db size is 3 GB (SQL backup). It has been running for one hour now and is still 0 %. Does anyone have an estimate on how long this will take?

    It depends on a lot of parameters, like DB-size, kind of data, speed of the DB-server, client, network.

    But definitely : after 1 hour and still 0% for a 3GB DB is not normal. Open another session and check if the session that does the test is still active (idle time). My guess is that the idle time is not 0 or close to 0.

    Ok - it took forever on the server but I could see that it was progressing. I decided to make a SQL backup and try it on my own pc. On my pc the test was done in about 5 minutes - what a diffence!! Think the customer must have their server hardware upgraded...;-)

    I think you shouldn't run the test when users are active in the DB
