SQL collation

I'm still a bit new with changing collations in databases and I came accross with a problem where I'd need wider character support.
We have a Navision 2009 database which has Windows collation, where collation detail is Afrikaans, Basque, Catalan, Dutch, English, Faeroese, German, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese
I'd need to have Chinese character support on this same Database so the Navision would support
The 9 Vovels = a,e,i,o,u,y,ä,ö,å
the 20 Consonants = q,w,r,t,p,s,d,f,g,h,j,k,l,z,x,c,v,b,n,m
and the chinese letters ( that chines usually use
)
I know unicode has all characters but I dont know how to change the database to that.
Any helping tip would be nice.

There is a procedure on Partnersource on how to use Chinese characters. It's an ugly one that should only be used if there are no alternatives.
I had a customer once that just wanted Chinese descriptions for printing. We did that outside NAV rather than implementing the Microsoft solution.0
