AUTO SAVE

Hi,
One of my client doesn't want the auto save features in NAV for all masters data creation. They are looking for "Do you want to save?" message and button before commiting/exiting the master data.

How can we achieve this?

    Add code to the "OnInsertRecord", OnDeleteRecord and "OnModifyRecord" functions of the form.

    I will never do such a solution for my customer. This kind of requests are the worst thing you can fulfill. I think that much better is to solve the "why" the customer wants it. It is because people are often doing wrong things? Or something else? If there is no reason and it is just "because our previous system did it", than do not do it! It is not NAV way of working! Explain the cost of this to the customer, to the "standard" way of work etc. Implementing such a thing you just open new world of errors and problems you will need to solve and customer to pay...
