G/L Entry Filter in Acc Schedule Lines

Hi. Is it possible to filter Account Schedule Lines based on a column in the G/L Entry table? I can see that filtering using Dimensions is readily available, but no filtering on the G/L Entries... at least I cannot figure out how.

I need to show expenses grouped by certain availble "General Product Posting Group"

    No you cannot filter on groups in account schedule.

    You can build a report,in which you can give filters.

    I was afraid of that. Anyone every try to alter Table 85 to enable FlowFields or something.

    Hello shahidt,

    it's a little more complicated than this... you would need:

    - a General Product Posting Grup Totaling field in the column layout line (or Account Schedule Line, or both)
    - a key in the G/L entries
    - modifications in CU8 AccSchedMgt for the right calculations.

    To make the changes consistent with the rest of the NAV functionality, you would also need to consider how to handle Budgets and Analysis views. All this considered, a dedicated report for your reporting requirement would be the better choice, IMO.
