RTC Client crashes a few seconds after launch

Hi

I am currently setup Navision 2009 on a test environment. Everything is fine except on a PC which has the XP OS (SP3). Everytime the RTC runs, it crashes. The classic SQL Nav Client runs just fine. The error message is a standard Windows error message that ask if I would like to report the issue to Microsoft.

The IT guy suspects that the outlook(2007) program could be the cause because every the Outlook program starts up (even in the background) the RTC will crash a couple of seconds later. Of course this could just by a coincidence.

I have tried disabling all the non microsoft startup services and most of the background services but it does not stop the issue from occuring.

Does anyone a clue what is wrong?

    Look into Event log for more info about the crash.

    Thanks for the tip. It turned out that the user had a profile setting that stopped the user from opening more than one window in outlook. Likely to a bug or incorrect setting. This setting continually terminated the RTC Client from running.
