Calculate Structure is Compulsory???

Hi Experts,

In Purchase & Sales Order and Invoice screen every time after selecting all information Item,Quantity,rate,amount and Taxation,is this compulsory to click, Function->calculate structure,press F9.When I have selected all necessary information then why some time all types of taxation not calculated automatically at new document creation and after every little changes.

calculate structure is compulsory part of the process or only for updating the data???

Well how does the system know if you have selected all necessary data?
You can add the code in function to onvalidate trigger of field(s) after which you have to calculate the structure.

No its not compulsory.

In codeunit 12 its written to calculatestructure and calculatetds from NAV 5 onwards.
