Users with specific roles = longer to connect

Hi,
We have a client that runs Navision 5.0 under SQL.
They noticed that if a user with the SUPER/ALL roles connects to Navision, it goes in right away.
For the users that have specific roles, it takes about 30 seconds before they connect to the server.
Any idea why this is happening? Anything we can do to speed the process?

They are using windows logins0

It looks like problem with active directory... like slow DC or connection to it...0
