promoted actions for page subforms

In Classic, we can have buttons on the main form that will perform actions based on which line the cursor is on in the subform - e.g. show tracking lines.
I have not seen this feature on any of the pages that have subforms. Is this ability not available in the RTC - to perform an action from the ribbon bar above the parent page that is performing an action based on the cursor position of the subform page?
Promoting an action on the subform page has no visible effect.

I dont think we have any feature like promoting icons of subform in NAV2009SP1

This has been discussed before here. And there is a workaround for it. I cannot find the topic right now.
But the idea is to add a promoted action on the main page and use sendkeys to call the action of the subpage.

I am going to have to allocate more time in the future to keeping up with all the Navision blogs.

I will have to give up yet another thing. (Sleep is highly overrated....
