prompt alert in purchasing

Hi all, i is there any function from NAV where we can do prompt alerts in purchase?
we will set the budget for each department
after that , if departments concerned will prompt alerts if they want to print the Purchase order

Assuming a requestor from Departement HR
Nav should prompt alerts to the requestor and route for approval whenever exceeding budget.
There will be 2 levels of approving parties.
Budget exceeding < X amount : 1st Level : Departmental HR (who reporting to CEO)
Budget exceeding > X amount : 2nd Level : both HR and CEO
Accountant will be the notification party (to receive alerts) whenever there’s exceeding budget.

do anyone have any suggestion?

I hope you know Approval functionality of NAV.
So just check whether it fits for your scenario or not.

do you mean functions -> Released and Functions -> Reopen?

this one is for posting , is it?
i need prompt while the user want to print the PO

No, we set Sales Amount Approval Limit and Purchase Amount Approval Limit in Approval user Setup
